What to share when you contact an agent
Share enough for an agent to understand your situation, but avoid sending detailed medical records or diagnoses through the contact form.
- Do share: your coverage goals, timing, and general questions
- Do not share: medical records, test results, or Social Security numbers
Agents and privacy obligations
Licensed agents are independently responsible for meeting their own privacy and data-handling obligations, including HIPAA where it applies to them.
